For half the way (on the North side) because its rocky with dirt steps/layers down to the lake which make walking difficult. it is very close vibes to hiking a easy trail, which is harder than a concrete/dirt walking path, etc.
Walking distance to La Quinta Cove Hiking Trails.
Swimming in the lake is not allowed. There is a pool that is open during the summer months only.
