Behind the photograph
Inside the rally.

Artist's Statement: Chiron showed up to a local Round Robin at Fritz Burns Park—clearly outclassing the rest of us—but played with grace, composure, and sportsmanship. He came as a favor to the tournament director, and his presence elevated the entire event. That day, he also let me try his new Joola paddle for the first time. Capturing moments like this means everything to me. I’m proud to call Chiron a friend.

Limited Edition Fine Art Print
Step onto the court.
This photograph puts you inside the rally at Fritz Burns Park — the birthplace of Coachella Valley pickleball culture. Shot over the shoulder in real match play, you’re seeing the game through the eyes of the competitor. The blurred teammate, the net tension, the incoming ball, and Chiron staring you down on the other side — it’s all part of the story.
This isn’t staged. It’s not a sideline capture.
It’s a player’s POV against one of the strongest local players on one of the most iconic courts in the desert.
Every detail matters:
-
The golden-hour light hitting the court.
-
The chain-link backdrop every local recognizes instantly.
-
The intensity in Chiron’s stance.
-
The pulse of a point about to break open.
This piece is for players, competitors, and anyone who understands the energy of a real rally. It’s a snapshot of the sport’s culture — raw, local, and authentic.
Hang it in your home, gym, or office as a reminder of what competition feels like.
Because this isn’t just a photograph.
It’s a moment you’ve lived — captured forever.
