A few useful answers

Before you make plans.

Use the guides for context and photography. Go to the venue or city for current access, reservations and official information.

Where is Rancho Mirage in the Coachella Valley?

Rancho Mirage sits between Cathedral City and Palm Desert. Its destinations are spread across the city, so use the map to organize your stops and check travel times rather than treating the whole guide as one walkable district.

Can I visit Sunnylands without a house-tour ticket?

The Center & Gardens are separate from the historic estate. General admission to the Center & Gardens is free during public opening hours; access to the historic estate is through guided, ticketed experiences. Confirm seasonal hours, closures and tour availability on the official Sunnylands website.

Can I drop in at the Observatory for stargazing?

Plan around the Library & Observatory’s current program calendar. Observatory tours and stargazing sessions have their own schedules and may require registration. A daytime library visit does not automatically include an evening observing session.

Is Cotino Bay open to the public?

Cotino Bay includes private club areas and a separate planned public-facing beach, dining and shops district. They have different access arrangements. Read the linked public-access guide for opening progress and visitor details before planning a visit.

Where should I start if I am considering a home here?

Begin with the kind of community you want and the features that shape your day. Compare individual neighborhoods, home types, ownership costs and amenity access. The Bloom city search, Del Webb guide and Cotino hub are useful starting points; Mark can help connect that research with properties to tour.
