Rancho Las Palmas Country Club brings together established condominium living, palm-lined fairways and a substantial tennis and pickleball complex in the heart of Rancho Mirage. Its setting near The River and Highway 111 makes dining, entertainment and everyday errands part of the community’s appeal.

  • Established desert homes: attached residences, courtyards and golf-course surroundings shaped by Sunrise Company’s 1970s development.
  • Active club setting: golf, tennis, pickleball and social membership options support different ways of using the community.
  • Neighborhood scale: the homeowners association lists 874 homes and 26 community pools.
  • Three distinct layers: homeownership, country-club privileges and Omni resort access carry different benefits and conditions.

Homes and the community setting

Low-rise, attached homes face landscaped streets, fairways and shared green space. White stucco, tile roofs and private outdoor areas create the familiar visual character of an established desert country-club neighborhood. Mark Miller’s October 12, 2026 aerial photographs show how closely the homes, golf course and racquet facilities fit together.

When comparing individual properties, the meaningful differences include the floor plan, interior updates, patio orientation, view corridor, nearby cart paths and distance from recreation areas. A fairway setting and a location close to the courts offer different daily experiences.

A Sunrise Company community

Sunrise Company places Rancho Las Palmas in 1976 on its development timeline, following Sunrise Country Club and preceding Monterey Country Club. The original concept combined residences, golf, tennis, hospitality and nearby commercial uses. That relationship between the neighborhood and the resort remains central to understanding the place today.

Golf, tennis and pickleball

The club currently describes its golf offering as an 18-hole resort course and a six-hole express course, with Ted Robinson design, palm-lined fairways and lakes. Older descriptions of Rancho Las Palmas often refer to 27 holes; current playing arrangements should be confirmed when booking or choosing a membership.

The racquet complex is another defining feature. The club advertises 20 tennis courts and 20 pickleball courts, along with clinics, private lessons and organized programming. Court access and programming depend on the applicable membership or booking arrangement.

HOA, club membership and resort access

The homeowners association and the club serve different purposes. The HOA identifies 26 community pools within the residential community. Golf and racquet privileges are offered through separate club membership options, including annual golf, seasonal golf, and tennis and pickleball memberships.

The club also describes a proprietary membership for residents with selected dining, retail, spa and room-rate benefits. The current HOA assessment, any resident club charge, available membership dues, transfer charges and exact inclusions should be confirmed together when reviewing a particular home.

Omni resort pool access is not included in the country club’s benefits. Splashtopia and other hotel pool facilities have separate access arrangements. The club also states that spa and fitness memberships are sold separately. The neighborhood’s community pools, the club pool and the hotel’s pool facilities should therefore be treated as distinct amenities.

Life around Rancho Las Palmas

The Bob Hope Drive and Highway 111 setting places the community near The River at Rancho Mirage, with restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The surrounding area provides a different rhythm from a more secluded club community: activities inside the gates sit close to an established commercial corridor.

Comparing homes here

Rancho Las Palmas is worth considering for an established condominium setting with active recreation and convenient access to central Rancho Mirage. The strongest property comparison combines the home’s condition and location with the particular amenities its owner expects to use.

Before selecting a property, review the association’s current assessment schedule, maintenance responsibilities, insurance information and any special assessments. For a seasonal rental plan, confirm both the HOA’s current rental restrictions and applicable city requirements for that address; a rental advertisement alone does not establish permission.
