  2. Follow the organizer’s parking, shuttle and entrance instructions.
  3. Plan your ride home and check current weather and road notices.

A venue pin gives you perspective. Your event’s arrival map tells you where to enter.

A few useful answers

Before you make plans.

Use the guides for context and photography. Go to the venue or city for current access, reservations and official information.

Where is Indio in the Coachella Valley?

Indio is in the eastern Coachella Valley, near La Quinta and the city of Coachella. The hills, downtown, festival grounds and neighborhoods are spread out. Use the map to group your plans by location and check current travel times.

Is the Coachella festival in Indio or Coachella?

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival takes place at Empire Polo Club in Indio. Coachella is also the name of the neighboring city and part of the valley’s name. For festival arrival, follow the organizer’s directions to the correct gate or parking area.

Are Empire, Eldorado and Trilogy Polo Club the same place?

They are different. Empire’s Indio grounds host major festivals and events. Eldorado is a separate polo club with a seasonal spectator program. Trilogy Polo Club is a residential community with private club amenities. Choose the guide and official schedule for the place you mean.

Can I visit the neighborhoods and resort amenities?

A place appearing in this guide does not imply public access. Gated neighborhoods, private lakes, clubs and resort facilities have their own guest and access rules. Arrange home tours with Mark and confirm golf, dining or lodging reservations with the operator.

What should I consider before an outdoor day?

Check the forecast, current trail or course conditions and your own ability before setting out. The Badlands route is exposed, with loose and uneven ground. Cooler weather is generally more suitable for hiking; avoid extreme heat and storms that can affect desert washes.
