October 12, 2026 source update: Palm Springs’ official Ramon Road Bridge notice and reporting from the October 5 Active Transportation Subcommittee meeting were reconciled with the CV Link tracker. Engineering staff said the undercrossing must close and be removed during the approximately two-year bridge work; the detour, contract award, construction start and active closure remain unconfirmed.
October 11, 2026 source update: SilverRock’s official golf website lists the City-owned Arnold Palmer course as closing October 12 for overseeding and reopening October 30, with cart-path-only play through November 24. This is recorded as a public-course access and maintenance notice, not construction progress on the adjacent private resort parcel.
October 10, 2026 source update: CVAG’s current procurement page, cable-railing bid documents and October 5 addendum were checked directly. That review recorded an October 15, 1 p.m. bid deadline for approximately 450 feet of cable railing at the Adams Street undercrossing in La Quinta. See the October 16 follow-up above; the deadline has passed. This is recorded as a procurement milestone, not a contract award, notice to proceed or construction start. The documents allow partial-width closures during work hours but prohibit a full CV Link closure.
October 9, 2026 source update: The Living Desert’s official 2027 Zoobilee page says the February 27 gala will move off-site as the zoo makes way for Lion Ridge construction. This is recorded as an operational project signal, not a permit date, exact construction start or opening. Dream Hotel’s developer page was also rechecked after the October 8 meeting date; its combined July–October 8 update still leaves the stairway issue and final pricing unresolved, with no distinct meeting result or construction restart verified.
October 7, 2026 source update: Dream Hotel’s posted developer account and The Living Desert’s current Palm Pavilion description were reconciled with their individual trackers. Photograph dates are unchanged; no new construction start or opening is established by these source checks.
October 6, 2026 maintenance: project totals, status counts, the coverage list and search metadata were synchronized with the project records. This was a consistency correction, not a new verification of permits or construction progress.
This hub was assembled September 10, 2026. On September 27, DSRT SURF’s status was advanced to its operator-announced soft-opening phase after the September 26 launch date passed and the reservation pathway remained live; DOI has not independently field-verified opening-week operations. A separate September 25 field update added original Desert Retreat construction photography. Other projects retain their individual evidence dates. The September 17 review covered Oasis reporting, the then-current DSRT SURF FAQ and booking notice, Dream Hotel developer updates, and The Living Desert completion target. The map is an original DOI illustration for regional orientation, with approximate project positions and simplified roads and terrain. We treat it as a statement posted by the developer, not as evidence that the October 8 meeting has already occurred.
