Chiron Burl

Chiron is a certified PPR instructor from La Cañada, near Pasadena. He fell in love with pickleball alongside his parents, Mike and Maureen, who were his first tournament partners. In just three years, he’s embraced how the sport unites people of all ages and backgrounds. Though he had no racquet-sport experience, his 14 years in volleyball shaped a unique playing style that boosted him from a 2.5 to a 5.5 rating. He has won medals in 5.0 and open events and made a PPA main draw last year. Now, he’s eyeing more pro tournaments and his first main-draw win. Off-court, he enjoys hiking, learning golf, and playing chess—a lifelong passion reflected in his 2,000 online rating.
