Fritz Burns Park is one of La Quinta’s most complete public recreation spaces, bringing together aquatic facilities, sports courts, family play areas and community gathering spaces near the Santa Rosa Mountains. The park serves families, athletes and neighborhood residents with swimming pools, a children’s activity pool, a playground, shaded picnic areas, barbecue grills, a dog park, tennis courts, pickleball courts, a skate area, public art and restrooms.
Pickleball is a major part of the park’s identity, but it is only one piece of the larger destination. Recent improvements have refreshed the swimming facilities, children’s play areas, shade structures and restrooms, making Fritz Burns Park a versatile place for exercise, recreation, family outings and community events.
