A 5.3-mile challenging trail in Palm Desert. Expect rocky paths, steep climbs, and stunning views of the Coachella Valley. You’ll start inside The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens (fee required, no dogs). The route features a rocky section—nearly 900 yards of boulders—so wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water. Plan for about two hours of hiking and aim to visit between September and May.
