Evidence before excitement
We prioritize business websites, official project announcements and city records, then use dated local reporting. Each card identifies its sources. A reported opening is distinguished from a projected date; a project announcement alone does not establish that a business is operating.
A guide you can revisit
Every entry carries a source-check date. Older projections stay qualified until new evidence resolves them. This edition is a researched snapshot, not a live business-hours feed or a guarantee that every opening in the valley is included.
A few things to know
What does “open now” mean?
It means the location is reported as operating in the sources checked. It does not mean the doors are open at this moment. Confirm daily hours, reservations and seasonal closures directly.
How recent are the openings?
This guide covers openings from the past 12 months, including new concepts and relocations, alongside announced future projects. Older ordinary openings are retired; major future projects remain useful to track. Timing appears on every card, and major reopenings are labeled separately.
Are coming-soon dates guaranteed?
No. Expected windows are projections. “Date / status unconfirmed” means an announcement exists but we could not establish a current opening date or resolve conflicting information. An elapsed target never automatically changes a listing to open.
Does this cover the entire Coachella Valley?
Yes. The coverage area includes all nine cities plus communities such as Bermuda Dunes, Thousand Palms, Thermal, Mecca and Oasis. Some places or filter combinations may have no sourced listings yet. This is a curated guide, not a complete business registry.
How can I suggest an opening or correction?
Use the Contact Mark link below and include the business name, city, expected or actual opening date, and a public announcement or official website. We check tips before adding them. Saving this guide to My DOI makes it easy to return.

Rechecked all 11 Cotino tenants and the beach’s spring 2027 projection in the rendered official source; the general FAQ’s older fall 2026 language remains unresolved. Refreshed selected upcoming listings only after completed checks. Other entries retain their individual verification dates.
