A decade in 55-plus real estate. Early attention to Desert Retreat.
My experience includes sales in Sun City Palm Desert and Sun City Shadow Hills, two nearby established communities. That work gives me a practical understanding of the homes, the north-valley location and the lifestyle questions that matter to 55-plus buyers.
Desert Retreat adds a different choice: a new Del Webb community still taking shape. I've been following its inventory, studying its floor plans and photographing construction of the Oasis Clubhouse. That ongoing work helps us discuss what is available today, what is planned and how the community may fit your everyday life.

The clubhouse is an important part of that story. PulteGroup's June 18, 2026 announcement targeted summer 2027 completion. It remains a planned amenity until opening is confirmed; before a purchase, we'll check the latest progress and the facilities currently available.
Buying: compare the models with available resales
You don't have to run two separate searches for a new home and a resale. I can help compare both paths at Desert Retreat and connect the differences to your budget, timing and priorities.
I have an established relationship with the on-site sales team. Contact me before your first model visit so we can coordinate our appointment and the builder's current registration process. We can walk the models together, discuss the available homes and homesites, and arrange showings of resale properties when suitable listings are available.
New construction
Compare floor plans, homesites, included features, options, incentives and expected completion dates. We look at the complete offering rather than relying only on the advertised starting price.
Resale opportunities
Consider finished landscaping, improvements, condition and move-in timing alongside the asking price. Resale availability changes, so we'll check current listings before scheduling.
The home and its setting
Evaluate the room layout, outdoor space, sun exposure, privacy, surrounding construction and access to the future clubhouse. A model is a starting point; the actual property matters.
Ownership and representation
Review the current HOA information, applicable taxes and assessments, age requirements and transaction terms. I'll help organize the questions, comparisons and next steps throughout the purchase.
Compare Desert Retreat's ten floor plans, then call me to narrow the choices and plan a tour.
Watch the Desert Retreat home buying study guide
My Desert Retreat study-guide video has already accumulated more than 100 hours of viewer watch time, as of October 2026. It's part of an early investment in explaining this community through original research, photography and video.
The video records the community at the time of filming. Use the written home buying study guide for dated updates and contact me for current inventory, pricing and construction progress.
Selling: make the case for your home
A Desert Retreat resale competes with other owners and with the builder's current homes, homesites and incentives. Our pricing and presentation should explain what your property offers now: its location, completed improvements, condition, outdoor living and availability.
I've spent years building Desert Oasis Insider, my YouTube content and Bloom – Home Search Engine. Those established channels give my marketing a foundation and create additional ways for people researching 55-plus living to discover a property.
Price against real alternatives
Review relevant closed sales, active resale listings and current builder offerings. Upgrades help explain a home's value, but their original cost is not automatically its resale value.
Show the property clearly
Use professional photography and a dedicated walkthrough video to explain the layout, finishes and outdoor spaces. Relevant community coverage adds context to the home's own story.
Reach people already researching
Connect the listing with appropriate exposure through Desert Oasis Insider, YouTube and Bloom, alongside the agreed listing channels. My existing community guides create opportunities for discovery before a buyer schedules a showing.
Represent you through the sale
Prepare for launch, respond to inquiries, evaluate feedback and offers, and work through inspections and closing. The marketing plan supports the transaction; clear communication carries it forward.
We'll agree on the marketing and distribution for your property. The goal is useful exposure to relevant prospects, supported by an accurate price and a well-presented home.
Looking to rent a home in Desert Retreat?
Tell me your dates, budget, preferred lease length and whether you need a furnished home. I'll help assess available options and how they fit your plans. A rental may be worth considering while you explore the area or prepare for a later purchase.
Availability can be limited in a developing community. We will confirm the home's lease terms, age and occupancy requirements, and any amenity access before you rely on them. If Desert Retreat does not have a suitable option, my experience in nearby 55-plus communities gives us other places to discuss.
Own a home you want to lease out?
I can help present your Desert Retreat home to prospective tenants, with property photography, clear descriptions and a plan for inquiries and showings. We'll discuss the intended lease term, furnishings, availability and how the property should be positioned.
Before advertising, we'll confirm the current community rental requirements and describe amenity availability accurately. This is especially important while the Oasis Clubhouse is being developed. We'll also clarify the scope of leasing services and any ongoing management needs.
Compare Desert Retreat with the nearby 55-plus choices
Some buyers want a brand-new home and the opportunity to join a growing community. Others prefer established amenities, mature landscaping or a particular resale floor plan. My work in Sun City Palm Desert and Sun City Shadow Hills helps put those differences into a useful conversation.
Let's plan your next move in Desert Retreat
Whether you're buying, selling, looking for a rental or preparing to lease out a home, tell me what you're considering. I'll help connect the property details with the next practical step.
