Indian Wells Tennis Garden

The Indian Wells Tennis Garden is one of the Coachella Valley’s defining landmarks and one of the premier tennis destinations in the world. Opened in 2000, the complex features 29 regulation hard courts, including the 16,100-seat Stadium 1—the second-largest tennis-specific stadium in the world—and the intimate 8,000-seat Stadium 2.

Each March, the facility becomes the center of the tennis world as the home of the BNP Paribas Open, an ATP Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 tournament commonly called “Tennis Paradise.” Outside the tournament, the Tennis Garden operates as a year-round racquet and fitness club offering memberships, lessons, clinics, organized play, fitness programs, and dining at Nobu Indian Wells.

With palm-lined walkways, mountain views, practice courts that place spectators close to professional players, and multiple stadium environments, the Indian Wells Tennis Garden is more than a sports venue—it is an essential part of Indian Wells and the Coachella Valley’s international identity.
