From above, Montage at Mission Hills reads as a compact neighborhood of curved streets, low rooflines and enclosed outdoor spaces. Mark Miller’s three photographs, taken October 20, 2026, show the relationship between the homes, their backyards and the surrounding desert development.
This is a private residential community in Cathedral City, near Gerald Ford Drive and Da Vall Drive. Its Mission Hills name connects it to the neighboring country club, but the neighborhood has its own identity and homeowners association.
The community at a glance
Montage comprises 128 homes, built between 2002 and 2004. Originally introduced as the Artesian Collection at Mission Hills, it was developed by GHA. Artist-inspired street names, including Da Vinci, Van Gogh and Chagall, carry the creative theme through the neighborhood.
The original offering combined four single-level floor plans, approximately 2,125–3,400 square feet, with Tuscan, Italianate and contemporary exterior styles. Individual properties have evolved through landscaping, interior updates and changes to outdoor spaces.
What the aerial photographs reveal
The wide view is the best starting point for understanding the setting: the neighborhood sits within a larger pattern of housing, roads and landscaped open space. The closer views bring the focus back to the scale of the homes.
- Varied rooflines: tile roofs and flatter roof forms create a more varied streetscape than a single exterior style would suggest.
- Outdoor rooms: courtyard walls, patios and planting divide the space around the houses into smaller, sheltered areas.
- Private pools: several backyards contain pools, with different shapes and surrounding layouts. These are features of the individual properties shown.
- Spacing and orientation: the overhead perspective makes the relationship between adjacent homes easier to read than a front elevation alone.
Aerial photographs provide context for a neighborhood visit. They cannot establish a property’s boundaries, condition, interior layout or the ownership terms of visible equipment.
The Mission Hills connection
The homeowners association describes a Mission Hills Country Club sports membership included through HOA dues, covering social, fitness and racquet activities. Full golf membership is separate. Current membership terms and eligibility should be confirmed with the association and club.
Location and visits
The community is near the intersection of Gerald Ford Drive and Da Vall Drive, Cathedral City. The map identifies the neighborhood area, not a visitor entrance. Access and property showings require arrangements with a resident, agent or other authorized host.
